Extended Coverage Dispatcher

Lipsey Trucking is excited to announce our continuous growth!! We are looking for an experienced dynamic individual to partner with us as an Extended Coverage Dispatcher.

This individual will primarily provide operational support for extended coverage trucking operations.  Monitor operations of drivers and customers to ensure freight needs and customer requirements are met by dispatching loads, tracking and routing drivers. Provide first line assistance for all breakdown and safety issues.

• Act as driver’s point of contact by answering inbound calls and messages; assist with load delivery information, driver issues, on time delivery, and safety compliance.
• Relay instructions to drivers on where to pick-up and deliver loads; provide accurate and detailed information regarding directions, load information, pick-up/delivery times and other load related information.
• Work with internal departments to find solutions and assist in resolving issues that occur with drivers and freight.
• Maintain communication with drivers and identify any existing and potential service deviations.
• Update fleet management software with accurate and updated information about drivers and freight.
• Assist in tracking trucking loads from driver pick up through final delivery of the load.
• Collect, document and disseminate accurate information to/from drivers and customers.
